Mini- VACAY

Sorry I haven't blogged recently! We have been soo busy! Life has been good to us!

We went on a mini vacay to St. George this last week! It was so much fun!

Before we hit the road....
Potty Breaks
Mykelle is so pretty. (Even with hair in her eye)
We celebrated Mykelle's 7th birthday while we were there! She got some special phone calls from a few aunts, and lots of messages from friends that she really enjoyed! She felt so special!

She also really wanted an MP3 player because her BF has one, and she was in heaven with that thing! She woke up the morning of her birthday at 6am to listen to music!

We got lots of compliments on these 3 cuties!

We enjoyed tennis every morning. The weather was awesome! I'm trying to become a good tennis player! Key word- TRYING!

We paid the kids to chase our tennis balls!

We spent afternoons at the pool! Swayzee loves being outside!

They hated getting out of the water!

I received the WORST sunburn I have ever had! It was miserable! I usually don't burn, but got a good reminder that sunblock is really important for me too!

We went out on the town during the evenings! Seth is sexy!

Mykelle chose Texas Roadhouse for her birthday dinner! We love Texas Roadhouse!

She loved all the music!

Get up on the Saddle birthday girl! (She was embarrassed)

Evenings at the park!
I'm loving being prego, and SO excited to have THREE daughters!
27 weeks

Playing tag outside!

Playing at the Splash Pad!

Eating wood chips at the park!

More swimming! (Seth makes fun of Trey in his goggles. I think it's cute)

Trey thought it was very important to take a picture of Joslynn today, so we did! 27 weeks 4 days. 7 months already! That's crazy!

I love getting away! St. George was a good escape!

Appointment # 5

This pregnancy seems to be going by pretty quickly so far. I'm so busy that my days and weeks all blend together, and then the month is over.

I love going to hear Joslynn's heart beat, but I'm tired of going to the doctor every month for 5 minutes, and waiting an hour a lot of times. I guess it's always good to put my mind at ease that everything is well, and to double check that I'm STILL gaining weight. lol.

With Swayzee, I was excited for every appointment like it was Christmas! I guess 4 years of not being pregnant does that. I'm still excited, I'm just sayin'

My blood pressure was great, and everything else seems to be going well! I measured right on track, and I've gained just over 20 pounds. I tried not to look at the scale, but looked at the last minute. As the number gets higher, maybe I won't look.

I feel fantastic though, so I guess that's all that matters. I honestly think a lot of the weight gain has gone to my buttocks! 'Cause Baby got back! Belly wise, I'm about the same size as I was with little Ms. Swayzee, and seem to be carrying exactly the same. (With some extra padding in the back) I feel really good working out still, except I get exhausted after about 45 minutes, so not much more than that.

Sadly, I don't have a picture from today. My camera charger is lost. Bummer too, because I have a darling shirt on that I got for Mother's day. (Which BTW was wonderful.) Enjoy this FB shot from last week...

Mother's day we spent Saturday and Sunday with both of our families, and we had such a good time. No pictures, but just trust me on the "good times" had by all.

We were able to go see my Grandmother's grave and take her flowers. She was such a special person, and I felt her spirit around us that day!

My kids were able to play with cousins all weekend, and were so happy!

I was spoiled by my own little family, and Seth bought me a rug for our front room!

Loves to you all!

P.S. My friend Sandra posted this on FB, and I LOVE it. (Especially now) but also, I've NEVER let the number on the scale determine how I feel about myself (For more than a day). I'm so much more than a number on a scale. Good health is much more important!

Emotions

Today started out to be such a fabulous day, and is ending well too. (Although it is 1:00am)

This evening though, was not so great.

Trey had a soccer game, and he was SO excited. He practiced all day, and was so happy. When he got to the field, there were only 2 other girls there, and they all usually run around together and kick each others balls around. Trey kept kicking this one girls ball on his team, and they were laughing and having fun, so I didn't think anything of it.

Trey and this other little girl were running down to the other end of the field, and her dad was following them. I was playing with Swayzee on our blanket.

The next thing I know, I hear this man yelling at the top of his lungs. I look up, and it is the little girl's dad, yelling at Trey. He was in Trey's face, and instantly, I was LIVID. My blood was boiling! I could feel it! Trey was so scared, and embarrassed, and ran to our chairs.

The coach heard him too, and asked what was going on!

I marched down the field, and got in his face, and said "How dare you yell at my son like that!"

He said "Your son keeps kicking my daughters ball and she doesn't like it!" (honestly????)

I told him if he had a problem he should have come and talked to me about it, and not to ever yell at my son like that again. (I've never even gotten mad at my kids like this man did. He was about 6ft. and 300 pounds, and IN TREY'S FACE none the less) I was SO SO mad I can't even explain.

He then proceeded to ask me if I ever told my son no, which was just stupid due to the fact it had nothing to do with what we were talking about. We then exchanged a few more words that I don't even recall to be honest.

I wanted to walk away, so I finally said "You are a grown man, you should (keyword) know better!"

(After the incident, so many things were going through my head on the things I should have said)

I think the thing that made me so mad, is that Trey is honestly so sweet. If he was a bratty kid, I would understand A LITTLE more. He was just out there having a good time! It breaks my heart to even contemplate the way he felt in that moment, and still makes me get all choked up!

I went and sat back down (they were sitting right next to us) I just acted like nothing had happened, but inside I was trying to calm myself down. Wondering how I could make this situation better, because I felt disgusted, and angry.

Seth arrived after, and I didn't tell him what had happened. It took me the WHOLE game to calm down, but I knew I needed to apologize. I do think what he did was wrong, and I still do not care for this man very much, but after the game, I walked over to him and his wife, and I apologized FOR TALKING TO HIM THE WAY I DID. Not that I confronted him, but for yelling at him. I had Trey apologize to the little girl, and although he said it was OK, and that he understood, he didn't apologize to Trey.

His wife did say she would have done the same thing as a mother. (I would have kicked Seth's A if he ever yelled at somebody else's child that way)

After they left, I apologized to the coach who witnessed it all, and then I started bawling! (Freaking hormones) I was just so full of emotion.

THEN, Seth was REALLY confused, and the coach explained what a jerk that guy was while I tried to stop crying.

I was so ____________! I don't even know the word for it. Sad, disappointed, frustrated, and still a little mad.

I cried the whole way home after, and I don't even know why other than the fact that I was so emotional, and felt sad for Trey.

The whole game he was so nervous, and kept staring at the man that yelled at him, and sucking on his fingers. ( He NEVER does that) He didn't really want to play, and after his game he was crying about it.

I know I cannot protect my children forever! I know that.

This insignificant event has turned into a big one for me though. Now all I keep thinking about is bullies in all the schools! Oh geeze....

I felt so much better after dinner, but now I'm crying after writing all this. I think it's time for bed. I've been such a crybaby today.

Goodnight!

My Girl

Mykelle's first real game of flag football!

My girl's pretty awesome! Only girl on all the teams! She is going to kick butt as soon as she learns to block the other team. Go Mykelle Go!

Fold your Arms

Swayzee has started folding her arms for prayer.

It is the sweetest thing ever.

It's not easy trying to take a picture of her showing off her new talent.

Finally!
So precious!

And, I don't want to forget to tell you that this sweet, precious little girl is also a TERROR! She is into everything, doesn't sit still for long, and thinks she is so big! I am going to have my hands full with two little girls!

Easter

Easter was a lot of fun this year. We have decided that we (Seth and I) should be way cooler than the Easter bunny, or Santa Claus so we are the ones that filled their baskets this year, and the Easter Bunny just left eggs all over the house.

Because of the importance of having a picture of the Temple in our kid's rooms (talked about @ General Conference), we gave each of our children a picture of the Temple, and also a few other pictures of Jesus with children. On the back, I wrote.....

" Jesus loves you so much, that he died for you!"

They both thought they were so special, and taped them right next to their beds after breakfast.

We also gave them reading books, a few little toys, and I got Seth a bag of coconut eggs. Which were really for me!

Each child had their own color of eggs, and had to find them.

I am so sick of candy at every holiday, so the Easter Bunny gave them money. They LOVE money! They thought it was pretty great.

I feel like my children really understood the true meaning of Easter a lot this year, and really embraced what Jesus Christ did for us all.

Mykelle helped me write her talk for primary on Easter Sunday, and it was so special! She really knew what Easter was about. She read her whole talk by herself, and made me so proud.

(She struggles sometimes with really big words in reading still, but breezed right through the big words when she read her talk. She only practiced it once, so I was impressed. It wasn't a short talk for a 6 year old) Anyway, everyone was complimenting her on how well she did and what a great talk it was, so she felt very special and wanted to read it at the family party Easter Sunday. (Although she only read it to David, Candice, and Naomi)

This picture is out of order, but I thought it was so cute to see Mykelle and Swayzee playing the I-Pads on the couch! Their hair color also looks the same, and for some reason I thought that was cute too.

Easter Egg Hunt before Church.

I hardly took any pictures on Easter morning, we were a little rushed to do all our fun things!

We always have a Big dinner with Seth's side of the family the day before Easter, and it was raining that day so we had our egg hunt inside. It was a fun none the less, and we enjoyed our time with the family.

Swayzee found lots of candy during the Easter egg hunt!
