Almost exactly a year ago, I learned a major lesson in life. Whether a certain situation with friends was my fault or not, I learned so much from it. From who I want or who I care to have in my life, to realizing how mature I was, and what true friendship feels like. I realized that I need to be careful with things I joke about, and things that are okay to joke about and what crosses the line. I learned how amazing my husband is, and that he knows me so well, and will stand by me through anything. I'm thankful for that situation, because it was a big eye opener for me, and just another one of lifes many lessons.

This leads to something else I LOVE, and am so thankful for, and that is ME! I love me. I truly love myself. I have been through so many things in my life that could have destroyed who I have become today. I have learned so much through every trial I have ever had, and every hardship. I wouldn't be me without them.

My young life was far from easy, but I made it through, and am so strong now. Growing up, I never knew what my purpose was, and went through periods of time when I didn't know if I wanted to live. Which breaks my heart now that I felt that way. I just know I have learned so much from everything I go through and have gone through. Being so happy in life, and being so content and proud of who I am is the BEST feeling.

And one last love... I love you my friends.

A few matters of Business

Seth celebrated his 30th birthday on Wednesday, and I started the morning off with a Birthday Breakfast. We made cinnamon rolls, eggs, and fried potatoes. One of his favorites.

After I got out of Preschool, we took cake to his work before my awesome parents would be taking them for the night.

Seth got to choose where we would go to dinner, and what movie. He picked Texas Roadhouse, and we went to New Moon after. Seth isn't afraid to admit he went to it either. He is just so curious about the story of it all. The werewolf scenes are seriously awesome, and even better the 2nd time. He thought the movie was pretty good, but not amazing or anything.

We had a great time together that night, and he LOVED his birthday present! For those of you that know what it was, seriously do it.

Seth is such an amazing person, and I am so glad he is my husband. I don't know how much I believe in people being meant for each other, but I know if anybody was meant for me it was Seth.

1st Maternity shirt I've worn. This is the same shirt I was wearing the day we found out that we were having a girl, and her name would be Mykelle.

GIRL'S WEEKEND

Jessica and Riss came into town Friday night, and we all went to dinner and Jungle Gyms. Saturday morning we got together at my house for a big breakfast. It was so much fun! We then planned on spending the day together, and hung out while we all got ready to go see New Moon. Ang, (Jess's big sis) Emily, and Mallory all came as well. All we needed was our Mindy to be here with us!

First we had to eat, because that is what we do best. So we went to the one and only Olive Garden. I honestly ate so much I thought my stomach would burst. We laughed so much, I almost peed my pants as well.

New Moon was so good. I still am not an Edward fan. He is just so.... Unattractive, and his personality off screen ruined him for me. But Jacob was so good. I realized, that Taylor Lautner has a big nose. That's okay though, he is still really cute. And Buff. Emmett is still smokin' hot too.

We had some friends come into last weekend, and we all went to eat. Mike was nice enough to take the VERY HYPER kids outside for a bit while we finished eating. Jackie took these cute pictures of them! I still think Mike and Jackie need a son.

This is what happens when Dad gets left in charge of the kids. Seth is a great dad, but I think he could do a much better job watching the kids when I am gone. As long as he is off the computer, he does okay. This is one of the days he was on the computer "working"

I came home and Mykelle had dressed him up as a girl.

Appointment Two

17 wks. 5 Days

I can't believe I am almost 5 months! Time is going by pretty quickly!

Today I had my 2nd Doctors appointment, and it went great. Everything looked good! I measured 19 weeks, and didn't look at the scale, but the nurse said everything was good. I can still fit into all my jeans (except my 25-26), and I have never been able to wear them this long in anyone of my pregnancys so that is exciting for me!

I didn't get my Ultrasound today, but we scheduled it for when I am about 22 weeks. Right before Christmas. We are in no hurry, so I will wait that long to take a peek at our cute baby. She will also give me a more accurate due date, but we are already pushing it really close to when I am done teaching Preschool, so I hope my date doesn't change too much.

Every time I get a "For sure" feeling it is a girl, something throws me off, and then I have no idea. Today I think it is a boy. My doctor is really encouraging me to keep it a surprise, but I am getting tempted to find out, and I don't really want to, BUT I DO, but I don't! If there was ever a time not to find out the sex of the baby, it would be now. I just really, really, really, want to get the nursery ready! I have so many ideas going through my head, and can't wait to design the room. I am going to buy this though, and it is unisex.

Some know, but if it is a girl I am going to decorate the nursery in zebra and hot pink. Two things inspired me.

If it is boy, I am still set on this bedding, and I will make my own canvases for the nursery.

Either way, I really want a canopy over the rocking chair, and kind of want to reupholster the fabric on the rocking chair but can't since I don't know what it will be!

I also want to make a paper baby mobile, so if any of you know how or have seen an editorial on how to, PRETTY PLEASE let me know!



The next 5 months of the pregnancy are my absolute favorite!

I almost forgot one more important thing. I bought one of these today! They are pretty much amazing! I thought they were lame before, but needed something to hide my buttons sticking out on all my pants. When she showed me how to wear it, it wasn't so lame anymore!

My Thursday Confessional is....

Seth and I never "Make -out" We kiss all the time, but we rarely make out anymore. Not even when we are "In the mood" We get right down to business. But I'm not really a foreplay kind of girl.

Do you married folk make out very often? I mean full on making out with tongue, and all the other "Nasty" stuff.

These tips are for all you ladies, and for the men taking the quiz to the right! The quiz is for men only!

Hourglass Body
– The hourglass body type posses gorgeous body curves accompanied with board shoulders, thin waist line and attractive/striking hips.

Dressing Tips
- While dressing it is always good to show your strengths thus lay emphasis on fitted waist line clothes, straight skirts etc. You can also go for belted waist clothes or small pieced clothes which highlight your body curves as per your wish.

Apple Body Type
– The apple body type is posses charming and beautiful limbs with slim looking arms and legs along with slight broadness along with your stomach and ribs giving a slight breadth to your figure.

Dressing Tips
– Wear loose fitting clothes so as to cover your waist line. You should lay emphasis on clothes to highlight your legs and arms so try to wear short sleeves and knee-length skirts as much as possible. Avoid wearing short tops and tight fitted clothes as they will make you look fat.

Pear Body Type
– This is the just ideal body type having a ideal feminine look accompanied with slim waist line, narrow ribs and shoulders with feminine hip line.

Dressing Tips
– Wear clothes such as A-line skirts, flared skirts or belted waist cloth so as to highlight your thin waist line enabling you to balance your lower body. You can also go with wide colored clothes but while choosing make sure they provide you with a detailed waist line.

Pencil Body type
-The body type has straight waists which are accompanied by a narrow shoulders and hip line. This body type people are general y thin.

Dressing Tips
– You should always go for clothes which enable you to achieve a curvy figure. So while choosing clothes go for the ones which provide you with detailing around your bust and hips such as full skirts, waist belted clothes puffy sleeves etc.

Athletic Body Type
This body type is assumed to be a fit body comprising of broad shoulders, muscular legs and arms, with a flatland evenly leveled stomach.

Dressing Tips
– Go for fitted clothes or stretchable fabrics. You can also go for knee length skirts; puff sleeved etc clothes which give you a body type a feminine detailed look.

Body Types

I have asked many of my friends what their ideal body type is! There are so many different body types, and MOST are beautiful as long as they are striving for a healthly lifestyle. I could look at a girl that is a size 12, and find her just as if not more attractive than a girl who is a size 4.

I personally don't find a girl that looks like a stick figure that attractive , and find curves to be incredibly sexy! BUT not too curvy! I mean for my own body at least, I think a muscular body is attractive, but I think a girl can be too muscular. Which is sometimes my problem.

My ideal of a perfect body is toned, small waist, nice butt, nice legs, hips, but not too big. Legs are what I look at a lot since I am extremely picky about mine. I don't like skinny legs, but skinny legs look really good if they are toned! I always want my legs to be just a little bit smaller, but not lose their shape. Ah, the life of a girl!

So what I am getting at here is that girls impress girls, and not really guys.

MOST guys want a women to have curves rather than to be stick figures. But Hollywood tells us we are not pretty unless we are really skinny! Leaving unrealistic expectations for most girls. Especially young ones. I think about what I want for Mykelle, and I want her to love herself no matter what she has to work with, and I want her to be healthy, and stay active. I hear so many young girls talking about how fat they are at 14 years old, and I can tell you I NEVER worried about my weight until I was 20 and pregnant with Mykelle. I know I was always in sports, but still!! What is this world coming too!?

I'm getting Big!

LOL. Only Teasin' this picture was when I was pregnant with Trey! I can't wait to get a BIG belly though.

So much to post about, it'll have to wait until tonight. Off to do yoga.

Families can be together Forever

Families can be together forever, is one of my all time favorite Primary songs, and I love hearing our primary sing it. Today we had our annual Primary Program, and our kids did fantastic.

I was asked to give the closing prayer in sacrament, and gladly agreed, knowing I would be saying the prayer right after that song. This song always makes me choke up, so I knew I would have to keep myself together.

First of all, crying is contagious for me and most others. Minus men. Unless they are super sweet and sensitive :)

So, I somehow make eye contact with 3 people that are crying and try to hold it together but it just isn't working. I am trying and trying. Then the song starts playing. I decide not to sing the song with them, because I know I will cry. I think I can do it, then my friend Stacie looks at me, and is crying while she is leading the music. She knows why this song is special to me, and she gives me a wink and I lose it.

I am not one of those people that cry and you can barely tell. My face turns red, and my eyes turn bright green, and I can't talk. Well if I do, you can't understand anything I am saying!

The song is almost over, and I am really sucking it up so I can give the prayer. I calmly walk up to the pulpit, and cry some more because everyone else is crying. I manage to give the prayer, and go sit back down to gather my things to go home. Trey runs up and is so worried about his mommy! He gives me a hug, and asks why I am sad. I told him I'm not sad, I'm happy. He then became really confused and I just gave him a hug.

After sacrament, several people came up to me and told me they could really feel the spirit during my prayer, and they were crying as well, which is making me cry more. I was trying to escape the sacrament room so I didn't have to talk to any more people, and then I ran into Stacie. I was giving her a hard time for making me cry, and she told me she knew what this song meant to me, and that it would happen for me someday, and I just started sobbing! It was embarassing.

I heard a lady behing me say to somebody else, she is pregnant. It's her hormones.

In all honesty though, this song touches me pregnant or not. That is a great excuse though.

I am so thankful for our savior, and the opportunity we have to become forever families. I know my children are my gift here on earth, and I can't wait to spend eternity with them, my husband, my Savior, and my Heavenly Father. We are so blessed, and I really felt it today.

I can't wait to be sealed to my family, and am looking forward to taking my endowments out next month. I have been waiting for Seth for a long time, and am glad to move forward even if I do it by myself for now, and wait until Seth is ready to go back to the temple someday. He is such a wonderful person, and I know he wants to go back, I am just not sure when he will be ready. When he is though, that day we be unforgettable!

What a Doll

Who knew a white kid sang this song? Let alone, this adorable 15 year old. He is seriously a doll, and I had no idea he sang this song I listen to on the radio all the time, and love. He really is a great singer too. You can't tell completely by this You tube video, but he was perfect on Ellen's show.

Honestly could this dance be any Hotter!! It was so good! I must admit, I LOVE RAP music. I love this song, and knew it was going to be soooo good! I also LOVED Adam's reaction! Seth and I laughed so hard! We also watched it two more times. I used to have so much fun dancing, and this made me dance while I watched it! Seth wanted me to reinact this song last night. I would have back in the day.

We also really liked this dance! Legacy is totally sexy. My friend Mrs. JM has a crush on him, and after watching last night, I could totally see why. Those cheek bones= HOT. I also thought" Man, he would make a good Edward" I only thought that though because they showed the preview to the movie, and Robert is so not cute!

Girl's Afternoon

Jessica, Emily and I went and had pedicures and went out to lunch on Halloween afternoon! We had a blast together! It was a much needed day with my BFF's. We all wished that the rest of the gang could have been together, but we missed you Mindy and Riss! Thanks for a great Halloween girls!

Halloween Fun

We had a Halloween party at The Scott's this year, and we had such a good time! Most of the family could come, and we had soup, bread, cake, and lots of other good grub! The kids had a lot of fun with each other, and by the end of the night, Mykelle was driving me nuts acting like a kitty! It was pretty cold trick or treating, but they got plenty of candy!

Trey was a kitty, but really should have dressed up as a grouch, because that is what he was! He was suppossed to be a mouse, but didn't like it after wearing it to our Halloween party last weekend!

Jackie and Mike had a Halloween Party at their new house this year, and it was so much fun! Jackie's dad really loves Halloween, and decorated the house awesome! We had yummy food, and fun games consisting of pass the pumpkin, and musical chairs.David, Candice, Seth and I played a few game of darts which was totally fun, and I think I would like to play it more!

Mrs. Candice always makes her and Dave's costumes each year, and did a great job this year as well! If you can't tell who they are, than that is silly. Candice will be designing our families costumes next year! Right Candice?

Seth was so hilarious! I love the big goof ball he can be. I also love how funny he is! But not really when I am in a REALLY bad mood, and he keeps making jokes. Even if I laugh!

Letting it out

This morning I woke up at 4:45AM to go to the gym. My alarm was set for 6, but I knew if I went back to sleep, and didn't wake up on my own, I would hit the Snooze button. Then I thought, if I hurry and get my workout done, I can go grocery shopping at Wal-Mart and Sam's before Seth has to go to work. So i got up, worked out, went grocery shopping, and was home at 8:30 just in time for Seth's conference call. He was busy so I had to bring all $350 dollars worth of groceries in by myself, and put them away. My least favorite thing (After unloading the dishwasher) (I do love all the food we have in our cupboard and refrigerator after we go shopping, so I guess I'll deal with it.)

Then I thought you know, I should make dinner right now, because I know I will be tired come 5:00pm. So, that is what I did. I made Three Cheese manicotti, which is delicious, and got salad and bread ready for dinner tonight. All I have to do when I am done blogging is go stick it in the oven for 30 minutes.

Mykelle was really sick this morning, so I didn't have to run them around to gymnastics, so I thought I'll just clean the house. I scrubbed the bathrooms, vaccummed, cleaned the kitchen, and the kids bedrooms, and UNLOADED the dishwasher so I didn't have to do it tonight.

I felt pretty good! The kids had a picnic in there rooms, while watching a movie, and I decided I'd do 3 loads of laundry.

THEN IT HIT ME! HOLY CRAP! I HADN'T EATEN, AND I WAS SO EXHAUSTED!

It was only 12:30, so I had everything done on my to do list. (Excpet call Scentsy, which I am doing now, and have been on hold for 40 freaking minutes! Grrr....)

I decided I would take a shower, eat left over Thai food from Family night last night, and read "New Moon" and THEN take a nap while Trey and Mykelle were both sleeping.

(We ate at Simply Thai in South Jordan last night, and it was DELICIOUS! We also got bundlets at Nothing Bundt Cakes. They have pumpkin spice cake that is so good, and they also have Praline Pecan, which is the one I picked for myself last night, and Seth ate it when he got home, and I threw a huge fit for approximately 60 seconds. I didn't apologize though, I didn't feel like it. I was grumpy. )

Anyways, it was 2:00pm and I was on hold with Scentsy, and laying on the couch. It was on speaker phone. The next thing I know, I was fast asleep. I woke up twenty minutes later and was STILL ON HOLD! I was tired, so I said Screw you Scentsy and went back to sleep!

I woke up at 3:26, and felt like I got hit by a truck!

I still feel accomplished though! Now I can sit on the couch tonight and just watch TV.

Confession

I missed my Thursday Confessional. Yes, it now has it's own name, as I have done it every Thursday for the past three weeks. Minus last week. I was so busy.

I sometimes wish T.V. and the internet didn't exist. It wastes A LOT of my time! I really enjoy blogging, and surfing the web though, and I have WAY to many T.V. shows I like to watch to get it disconnected.

If I didn't have these two things though, I must admit. I would have time to do so many other things!

Naomi wrote me last night! I miss her. She is doing okay, but struggling with being different, and understanding the language. Her feet are still swollen, and they are hurting her pretty bad. Please Pray for her!
