Today-32 weeks
{I'm being vain in this post, and I don't even care}

Today my Doctors appointment went great! Let me explain! I was seen by a sub Doctor for Dr. Hebert since she had her baby last week, and he was sooo sweet. Seriously the cutest guy. From the moment he saw me, he kept complimenting me (He is a wise man indeed. You can't go wrong complimenting a pregnant women) He loved my hat, and my skin, and he thought I was glowing, and then after measuring my belly, and listening to the heartbeat (and noticing my G's) he said he knew I was Mormon, and I had this glow that looked like I just left the Temple. Precious.

It could have been weird talking with this new doctor about garments and things, but first off, I'm pretty comfortable with lots of stuff, and second, he was just so sweet! He is retired now, but works up at the University, and helps out his old residents when he can. ( My normal doctor was his resident) Anyway, after telling me to thank my mom for giving me such beautiful skin and great genes, I left smiling. I needed that this week.

And the good news is, baby is doing Fantastic! Heart beat sounded great, and so strong today! Baby is head down (Which is Splendid!)

My belly measured 32 weeks.

Down to the 2 week appointments now!

I have felt INCREDIBLE the last two days, and have felt like the next 7 weeks might be bare able! This may also be due to the fact that I took Tylenol Pm the last two nights for my back, and slept great. Really though, I feel good! I'm super excited to meet this baby!

On a different note, I ordered the cutest nursing gown/hospital gown, and thought I would share the link with all you other pregos! I got it in the mail last night, and think it is so cute! It curves with the body too, and I like that!

The top lifts up, and underneath that is individual cups. ( Like a nursing tank)

LOL.

I think only my close friends, and my mom will laugh at this.

Fact. I used to gag at the word vagina when I was growing up. I told my mom it was such a gross word, and always called it a V-G.

The Beautiful Bump

This Beautiful belly of mine, is getting rather large. My belly button sticks out so bad, and my kids and Seth are obsessed with poking it. (I find it really annoying, it is so sensitive) Today I feel like I am so huge. I feel like I can't believe I still have 8 weeks ( 7 really) left. I don't know how I am going to make it. This last stretch is so hard for me.

I can't walk, bend over, or really do anything by the end of the day. My back kills by dinner time, and sometimes even earlier than that. For those of you that know me, it is hard for me to take it easy when I feel like stuff needs to get done. (Always.)

Since getting my Blood test back, and finding out I had really, really, low iron, I was really sick, and had no energy. I started taking iron supplements, and was even more sick. I stopped taking them everyday, and cut them in half and started taking them at night. That has helped a lot. I still don't feel 100%, but I feel mostly better. I haven't worked out in 3 months, and feel like if I could get on a schedule again, I would have more energy. But I can't. No motivation right now.

I also have Spring Cleaning Fever, and clean like a mad woman on my days off. My Spring Cleaning list is ridiculous, but I feel like I need everything done before the baby gets here. Damn nesting!

Tomorrow, I will be washing all the blinds in our house (sigh... hate this job) and shampooing the couches. And whatever else I can get scratched off on the list.

Did I mention that I am having contractions like crazy? Now you know why. Trust me, I'll take it easy though. I don't want to have this baby too early.

Oddly enough though, I still love carrying a child. I think it is still so incredible.

Waiting to fall asleep last night, I was watching a Baby Story, and there was a woman on there that said women don't give themselves enough credit for what there bodies can do. I laughed.

More because I thought she was lame. (No offense for anyone that goes natural. I think it is great for you.) I just thought, I know my body can do it, and I know I can get through the pain, BUT I DON'T WANT TO. That is why they made epidurals. I personally don't feel it affects my baby, or my experience, so I am happy getting the drug.

Before I got pregnant, I really wanted to have a water birth. (Despite Seth saying he wouldn't go to the hospital with me, because he thought it was gross) I wanted my friend Emily to be my doula, and I really considered it. I thought you know what, I just want to try it, and prove to myself how strong I am.

Now I think...Screw that. I'd like to relax.

Honestly, my belly is getting GINORMOUS! ( I liked it yesterday, but today I can't breath)

How far along? 31 weeks 5 days

Total weight gain/loss: Gained 17 pounds I believe, but whos counting? Ha! (I swear I gained 10 pounds this week)

Maternity clothes? Yep since about 27 weeks ALL maternity clothes started fitting pretty good minus a few pairs of pants. They are all so baggy and awkward.

Stretch marks? Yes. Mykelle gave me all of them. (On my hips and legs) Trey gave me one on my lower stomach, and this baby hasn't given me anything but spider veins all over my right leg.They are so worth it though!

Sleep: Not very good unless I take Tylenol PM. I can't get comfortable, and my back hurts most of the night.

Best moment this week: It will be hearing the baby's heartbeat on Friday. So far, feeling the baby move.

Movement: This baby moves around all night long, and sleeps during the day!

Food cravings: Chocolate milk

Gender: Today, I think its a boy.

Labor Signs: None yet. Although I have Braxton Hicks all the time.

Belly Button in or out? Holy Outy!

Can you still wear your wedding ring: Yes, its still loose.

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach

What I am looking forward to: Meeting this baby!

Worst thing about pregnancy: Back Pain

Best thing about pregnancy: The ability to grow a baby in your body, give birth to, and nourish it. I also think feeling the baby inside you is pretty incredible.

Last weekend I witnessed my first Temple Sealing. It was Amazing! Jess and TJ did their endowments on Friday, and they were sealed for time and all eternity on Saturday.

My mom told me that morning to make sure I put on waterproof mascara, but I told her I wasn't going to cry. (Who am I kidding?) The spirit inside the Temple that day was astounding, and I couldn't even keep it together from the time they walked in the room, until the end. I was so happy for her, and the things we heard that afternoon were incredible. Especially for her.

Jess,

I love you so much, and I am so thankful I was able to be there with you on that special day. I can't believe we have been friends for almost 14 years. That is crazy. You and your family mean so much to me! We have so many great memories together, and being with everyone that day was so much fun. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for all of us, and all the new memories we will make. You are such an incredible, thoughtful, loving, caring, strong, woman! I'm so glad I have you in my life! Congrats again on your special weekend!

Freezer Meals

Okay, so I am going to plan, prepare, and cook a few weeks worth of meals before the baby comes, but I need some help.

What are the best foods to freeze, and what do you use to freeze them in?

Do you have recipes?

Is it worth it?

Seth and I are going to spend a Saturday cooking, and preparing meals together. I'm excited! Hopefully this will be a time saver when the new baby gets here. I actually like to cook though, so I don't plan on doing this every month, but I think it will be nice to do a few meals every month, for when I don't feel like cooking one night!

Happy Love Day

We had the best morning today. We made a Valentines breakfast for the kids that included heart shaped french toast, bacon, fried eggs, and hashbrowns. I decorated the kitchen with hanging hearts, and valentines, then I got them each a valentines snow globe. (Honestly $1 from Walgreens) They were ECSTATIC. They were so happy, and thanked us all day for such a fun breakfast and their snow globes.

Kids are so fun, and so easy to please. I love making them so happy!

Mykelle and I got to her school early on Valentines, and she wanted to take some pictures, so we did just that! She is such a beautiful, sweet, loving little girl, and I am so glad she is ours!

I got waxed below the belly button this week! Don't judge me. I can't see anything from my belly button down.

I also hadn't shaved my legs for a really long time before this day as well. I don't even care. Its too uncomfortable to shave.

If I hadn't waited so long, I would have had Seth do it for me. He might gag though, so I guess I could always ask my mom. Ha Ha. No seriously, my mom would really shave my legs for me. She is that cool.

Our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.
Man life is so much easier when you have the Lord in your life! I can't imagine my life without the Lord's guidance. I don't know how I survived my teenage years when I was inactive here and there. And still, I have a totally different relationship with him now then I ever have. It is amazing.

My family.
They are everything to me. I think that family is what matters most, and those are the people that will always be there. (As long as they treat you right, and the other way around) This counts for so many of my friends who I consider my family as well.

I am also really passionate about raising my kids well. I expect a lot, but I think this time and the coming years are crucial in a child's life.

Children.
They are so innocent, and wonderful. Most children anyway. JK. I love my job, and I love getting to know all the children in my life. They are all so different, and unique. Over the last 8 years, I have been blessed enough to have so many children touch my life! I honestly have the BEST job too.

Organization.
This might be lame, but I really am. My life revolves around it. I have to have to do lists, schedules, plans, etc. Oddly enough, I also like to do things spur of the moment. Just don't look at my Tupperware cupboard. ( I swear that cupboard won't stay organized for the life of me!)

I am passionate about a lot of things, but these are the first 4 I could think of at 12:30am.

When Life gets hard, don't give up, because they will always get better! ( I wrote this in my journal several times as a teenager. It still makes me so emotional to this day. My senior year of High School, I finally realized this, and it changed my whole life.)

Our Night

Our Night with the Catoe family was so much fun. We ordered the Pie, and talked all night. What we like best. Our kids love each other so much, and they played the whole time. It was perfect.

I am so sad/happy/heartbroken they are moving to Hawaii, but I truly am wishing them the best. I can't wait until we come visit. (With 3 kids) I know you will love it Julie, and I am happy you are going to be with Sandra. I love you both so much! I know how much you loathe Utah, so I hope it is everything you hope for. AND, you have the beach. Enough said. The beach will always remind me of you, because you love it so much. I am going to cry now, so I will stop here.

I feel like I haven't blogged forever! Sorry friends.

I've been really, really tired, and nauseous. I was unsure why, and assumed it was just being prego. But today, I found out that I have really low iron. I kind of knew that already, because I have accidentally (By accidentally,I mean not on purpose) turned myself into a vegetarian. Most meat just tastes so gross to me. Being pregnant made it worse, but I was like that already before getting pregnant. I stopped eating hamburger meat almost 2 years ago. (Although I did have 2 In and Out burgers last year) I still use meat for my family, and substiture pork sausage for hamburger. Since meat is the main source of iron, I am on an iron shortage.

I have had no desire to work out the last couple weeks, and haven't been myself. (Having NO energy) Looks like I will have to start taking iron supplements. And Colace my Dr. Report says. YAY for me!

And what about those skin tags? I find then creepy. I have gotten a few this pregnancy, and I swear I'm going to cut them off. They drive me crazy. That is what the Dr. said they do anyway. Gross. I don't think I could really do it.

All for a little bundle of joy.

All worth it though.

2 Confessions since I have been so lame.....

• I feel so bad for the kids whose parents smoke in their cars, homes, etc.

• I strongly dislike that people think just because I am a SAHM that I don't have enough things to do, and would want to babysit kids all the time! No offense to anyone, I'm just sayin' everyone asks me. I don't mind if the favor is being exchanged, but lets face it, I don't trust very many people with my kids.

And NO HOLLY your kids don't count. They are my 2nd children.

My dear friend Julie is moving to Hawaii. I'm a little heartbroken, as I am losing my Wednesday park pal (Every Wednesday in the Summer, we would meet up at the park, pack a picnic, the kid's bikes, sunscreen, and whatever else we needed to stay the whole day, and spend the enitre time talking and enjoyineg each others company.) She is so much more then my Wednesday park Pal, but I am so sad we won't have those days together this summer. I enjoyed them so much! My summer just won't be the same with out you!
Julie I realized, we have been friends for awhile now, and we really don't have very many pictures of just the 2 of us! I will post my pictures from last weekend soon though.

I don't feel like confessing anything today.

I do have to say that I LOVE how incredible a woman's body is. MY body. When I was getting into the shower last night, I thought to myself... man, my body is amazing. Then I called Seth in to come look. He only noticed other things (Large aereolas), so I kicked him out.

The ability to carry a child is phenomenal. Seth and I have admired my growing belly the last two nights, and watched it literally move in every direction.

This baby won't stop moving. But I love it. I can feel all kinds of body parts sticking out. I just don't know what they are exactly. They feel like bones.

My belly has never had this shape before. This baby is growing straight out, and super, super low. I can barely bend over.

Have I mentioned I LOVE being pregnant? Even when I can't breath after trying to get my shoes on. (Yeah, I already can't get my shoes on at 7 months. Pathetic.)

Women vs. Men

In a recent conversation with friends, we were talking about one difference in men and women.

We were talking about the way each man/woman reacts to an attractive opposite gender.

My favorite eye candy.

My girlfriend and I argued that when MOST woman see an attractive man, she appreciates his good looks and maybe a special talent he has........Singing/Dancing/Sewing/Cooking/Lifting Weights etc. Ha Ha and basically that is it.

Then we argued that when MOST men see a sexy, attractive woman, they often fantasize about her for a moment, or longer than a moment.

This is where I find men different than women.

I know it is hard for some of you to imagine your husbands doing this, but I am willing to bet that it is true on occasion.

My husband will admit it happens on occasion. Even though his wife is incredibly sexy and hot. 8)

My friend's husband will admit it, but he still doesn't believe that women don't think about sex when they see an attractive man.

So my question is this. You don't have to tell me if you think your husband does this or not, because some of you may be in denial. Lol. Seriously though...

I just want to know if you ladies are turned on sexually when you see a hot guy. I am not judging, I am just curious because I am not like that. Don't get me wrong I appreciate good looks and that is pretty much it for me. BUT, I am just curious if some women do get turned on when they see a hot guy.
